This is a pouch made from a combo-tanned buckskin. Combo-tanning is a natural tanning method that involves the use of tannic plant matter and emulsified oils. This deer hide was tanned using hemlock bark and eggs. The pouch was sewn with lacing cut from the same hide and an antler button.
