Learn to sew with buckskin and make your own pouch!
Buckskin is one of the strongest and most versatile materials out there, and it’s all natural! Over the course of a day you will cut out and sew a simple pouch as well as the buckskin “lacing” you’ll use to sew it. This class is a great foundation for anyone who wants to explore bigger buckskin projects in the future, such as clothes or shoes. We will use buckskin tanned by instructor Callan Burton-Shore. All tools and enough buckskin to make a small, simple pouch will be provided. Antler buttons and tools to take home will be available at an extra cost.
