This Navajo Churro sheepskin was lovingly tanned by hand using mimosa bark (a kind of Acacia) and egg yolks. It was washed with Dr. Bronners soap and softened with shells and pumice stones.
This hide is perfect for sitting on around a fire or even sleeping on as the nights get colder!
These sheep lived long lives on pasture and it is often impossible to remove all debris from the wool, so expect a few seeds here and there!
Wash warm or cold on a gentle setting in the washer or hand wash. Line dry or tumble dry (no heat).
