BIPOC/ PGM Discounted Ticket: Sheepskin Tanning Workshop: Sept. 26-28

$280.00

This is a discounted ticket offering for BIPOC/ People of the Global Majority. Please let Callan know if this price is still prohibitive. Callanshore@gmail.com

—————————————

Join Instructor Callan Burton-Shore to learn how to naturally tan a sheepskin using elements of both the traditional egg-tanning method and bark (veg) tanning. Over the course of 3-days, each student will tan their own sheepskin using just a few tools, tree bark, some eggs, and their own hands! The skills covered in this class also apply to many other kinds of animal hides and types of tanning, so this is great class to take no matter how much experience you have.

We will come together on a beautiful piece of land in Weaverville, NC, surrounded by spice bush and tulip poplar. This is a physically demanding + focused class, but we will also have time to hang out and play!

Primitive camping for $15 is available as a separate add-on on the workshops page.
