Camping Add-On for Sheepskin Class: Sept 26-28
Camping is not required but is a great option if you live far away or just want to immerse yourself fully in the experience.
All campsites are within a few minutes walking distance of where you will park, so a backpacking backpack is not necessary, but is helpful.
There is lots of sloped forest where hammocks can be set up, and lots of flat-ish woodland camp sites. We also have an outdoor shower and a composting toilet.
There will be a couple tables, an outdoor sink, and a camping stove for campers to share.
Here is a list of gear you’ll want to bring if you are camping:
Flashlight or headlamp
Warm sleeping bag or bedroll
Sleeping pad
Hammock, tent or tarp
Extra set of clothing each day since you will be doing some messy work
Weather appropriate clothing (it might be cold!)
Rain coat/rain pants
Camp stove and desired accoutrements (tea kettle, cook pot, spatula, etc.)
Rain gear/waterproof shoes
Food for yourself
